Brad Hope Family Martial Arts

Brad Hope Family Martial Arts is one of Queensland's FIRST PRIVATE Martial Arts Academies. We have been offering full time professional instruction and training in Taekwondo and Hapkido since the opening of the training facility in 2003.

The School is headed by Master Instructor Brad Hope (8th Dan Bo Taekwondo/5th Dan Hapkido/Blue Belt Gracie Jiu-Jitsu) and a staff of expert instructors.

We offer a number of day/evening programs for instruction in Taekwondo, Hapkido and Gracie Jui Jitsu . Our school is proudly recognised as being the first and currently only Australian Certified Training Centre (CTC) for the Gracie Academy.

Upcoming Seminar & BJJ Private Lessons with Jimmy Donison

Dont miss out on this rare opportunity!

We have been extremely fortunate to have had Brazilian Jui Jitsu black belt Jimmy Donison from Gracie Barra Vancouver as our guest instructor over the past couple of months.

Unfortunately Jimmy will be relocating from Cairns in February but before we lose him, he has planned a special BJJ Seminar over the Australia Day weekend + there will be a limited number of 1hr Private Lessons available during the evening next week (23rd-27th January).

1hr Private Lesson Prices

- Single Student x 1hr Lesson = $50.00
- Two Students x 1hr Lesson = $75.00 ($37.50 each)

Australia Day Weekend BJJ Seminar

- Cost for the seminar will be determined based on intrest and will be announced shortly

Back to regular class times

Its back to school time already! - so....Welcome back to class if you haven't already joined us this year! Our training returns to the normal scheduling as of Monday 23rd January.

We also have gradings for some of the junior students on 28th January. Emails have been sent out to the students involved, and Sabom has the intention to promote forms.

Please admire Sabom's handiwork when you next come in to the Dojang, our current project should be finished very soon - a brand new information wall, to hold and display all the relevant info you need. Timetables, calendars, upcoming events, student creed ..all available on the wall. There is even a brand new (paint still drying brand new!) blackboard wall to keep the kids amused while you or older siblings train.
